Watch Chesterton Students Sing at Magic Game!
Exciting news! Chesterton Academy of Orlando has been invited to sing the national anthem before an upcoming Orlando Magic game!
Come watch our students perform and then enjoy a fun evening of basketball!
Our school has a block of 185 tickets that we're committed to purchasing, so please support the school by inviting friends, family, and fellow parishioners to come out, support Chesterton Academy, and spend the evening at the Amway Center.
(NOTE: We hope all Chesterton students will sing in the choir, however each student will need a ticket to enter the arena and attend the game, as will each parent, family member, or friend.)

Yes. Each Chesterton student will need a ticket in order to participate. Purchase tickets here:
Each student singing in the choir needs a purchased ticket to enter the arena. Students are not required to stay for the basketball game afterwards, but unfortunately they cannot just sing the anthem without a ticket.

Our block of seats is located in the upper bowl of the Amway Center in sections 230, 231, and 232. We'll all sit together as a community so it will be a fun evening!
STUDENT LOGISTICS
Students should be dropped off at 3:15pm on Sunday, January 7, at the Amway Center's GROUP ENTRANCE (corner of Church St. and Division St.). Parents will drop off students but will then have to wait to enter until the arena doors officially open at 5:00pm.
The schedule for Sunday, January 7 is as follows:
- 3:15pm - students arrive at Amway Center
- 3:30pm - students enter through GROUP ENTRANCE (corner of Church St. and Division St.). Parents drop off students then wait outside arena
- 5:00pm - Amway Center doors open (parents can enter)
- 6:00pm - Students sing national anthem
- 6:30pm - Parents pick up kids in Section 230-232 directly after performance to sit and enjoy game, or they can leave early if they'd like

Students will not be able to change out of their uniform after singing the anthem, but it will be great for everyone in the arena to see all our wonderful students dressed in Chesterton attire!
OTHER
No. The school receives no money from this event. You will purchase tickets directly from the Orlando Magic (at a 30% discount!).
However, the school did have to commit to purchasing 185 tickets and meeting a minimum ticket threshold of $4,000. If we do not hit those marks, the school will have to cover the difference. So, please purchase tickets for your family, and encourage friends and fellow parishioners to attend, so that our school doesn't lose money on this great event!
Unfortunately, the performance can only be seen in person at the game and will not be live-streamed online, though we're hoping to acquire a video recording of the performance.
