Admissions Process

Our application process is completed online through GradeLink, a third-party service that captures all the relevant information for your student's application. GradeLink handles admissions, enrollment, documents, and more. Create a free account and manage everything in one place.

There is a non-refundable $50 application fee. That fee will reserve your child’s place for the placement test administered in the next step. In order to sit for the placement test, the application must be submitted and the fee must be paid.
Admissions will be handled on a first come, first served basis. We are capping the number of students we accept and we are confident the spots will fill up extremely fast, so please apply as soon as possible!

Each family (student and parents) will also need to take part in an interview with the Headmaster. The purpose is to ensure that both the family and the school are a good fit for one another.
The Headmaster will determine if a second interview is necessary with a board representative and a few faculty members.
Step 3 - Placement Exam

All incoming freshmen are required to take the Chesterton Placement Exam as a high school placement test. This test will be used as a diagnostic tool to ensure students are placed in the appropriate section of each discipline, and to help identify areas of academic strengths and opportunities for growth.
Test Dates are on the following Saturdays from 9:00am-11:30am

After the application process is complete, and all materials have been reviewed and approved by Chesterton Academy staff, students will receive an acceptance letter.
Step 5 - Enroll

Finally, after acceptance, you are ready to enroll in the school! This involves signing a tuition agreement, setting up tuition payments, meeting the other students, families, staff, and teachers, and preparing for the upcoming school year!
