Dr. Flatly is the world's worst psychiatrist. Just ask any of his patients! He's rude, dismissive, and condescending, and just five minutes in his office is enough to give any patient motive for murder. But when someone actually acts on their murderous impulses during a group therapy session, it's up to Dr. Flatly's clients to discover the murderer among them. . . before one of them is next!
Nuns and Aliens
by Dale Ahlquist
Junior Play
Date: Saturday, April 12, 2025

You've probably heard of Roswell, New Mexico. The town is famous for its UFO sightings and reported alien encounters. What you probably don't know is that there is actually an oasis here in the heart of the New Mexican desert: the Poor Clare Monastery of Our Lady of Guadelupe. Here a group of cloistered nuns live a life of contemplation and prayer, withdrawn from the rest of the world. In “Nuns and Aliens,” these two worlds collide when the convent is rocked--literally and figuratively--by the crash-landing of an alien spacecraft within its enclosure! Journalists and Air Force personnel descend upon the monastery, and life as the sisters know it is turned upside down as they grapple with what the existence of aliens might mean for the world and for the Church.
