Chesterton Academy of Orlando seeks teachers yearning for a joyfully Catholic environment, where your faith is an asset, not a liability.

We are especially looking for teachers with experience in and passion for Catholic classical education.

The ability and desire to teach in a variety of disciplines is considered an asset. In addition to teaching responsibilities, staff will have other responsibilities such as disciplining, advising, monitoring, mentoring, and helping to build a unique and joyful culture.

Faculty also participate in the House system, which is designed to promote character and virtue, and to help students grow in holiness. Teachers will be required to attend some events outside the school day (e.g., concerts, plays, meetings) and encouraged to attend other events (e.g., sports).

All of this helps to build a culture of life. Participating in community life is an essential aspect of the staff's work at Chesterton Academy of Orlando.

Open Positions

Given the explosive growth of our school, we are looking to hire multiple high school teachers.

An ability to teach more than one subject will be strongly valued.

We prefer teachers with a bachelor’s or master’s degree and/or 3-5 years of teaching experience, though we will consider candidates without extensive experience.

Each candidate must be a practicing Catholic and willing to take the Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium. Candidates must demonstrate excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, and possess a track record of contributing to the vision and mission of an apostolic and educational enterprise.
